September 2019 Luncheon Invitation

Join us for the PMI RSSC September 2019 Luncheon

Registration is open for this September 19 event.

Presentation:  Intentional InfluenceRegister-Now

“Ideas can change the world – but only when coupled with influence – the ability to change hearts, minds and behaviour."
-- Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize Winner

Abstract: The best leaders know how to get individuals to work together to accomplish goals. In contrast, we often struggle to enable members of our project teams to complete projects on time and on budget. We do our best to motivate employees and external contractors to demonstrate more concern for profitability or following procedures. We continually work on ways to exert our influence, but we regularly fall short. This can even prove to be a bigger challenge when we don’t have formal authority.

In spite of the fact that we’re routinely trying to alter behaviour, few of us can articulate an effective strategy to create this behaviour change. But there is a way!

Drawing from the skills of many of the world’s best change agents and combining them with five decades of social-science research, this session will focus on a 6 source model of influence that will help you not only diagnose the real causes behind behaviour problems, but also create behaviour-change strategies to effectively motivate and enable others – regardless of your level of formal authority.

Come prepared for a content-rich, highly interactive learning session that will provide you with strategies you can implement immediately following lunch.
