PMI Regina Luncheon Workshop – Daily Visual Management

Visual management is seen every day, all around us, but perhaps we do not recognize it as such because it has become a part of our upbringing and routine.  So why not take the same concepts and apply them as an integral component in our workplaces?  Daily Visual Management (DVM) boards are a tool for information sharing and problem solving that increase engagement and accountability in our workplaces.

Communicating business performance through visual processes is proven to increase employee engagement, drive daily improvement and support change management processes.  This workshop will introduce participants to the tools and practices of visual management, creating an understanding of the impact of visual management on team performance, improvement and communication.  Participants will also understand how to use DVM to engage staff ideas and active participation in problem solving in the workplace.

By the end of the session participants will be able to describe the:

  • Purpose of daily visual management (DVM)
  • Key components and tools of a DVM board
  • Purpose of DVM huddles

Beyond Connections will also correlate DVM to the Six Project Constraints and Classic Constraint Triangle of project management.
