Topic: Introduction to Mental Health First Aide
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is one of the training options that can prepare you as a Project Manager for what you may see in your staff. Work life balance is a dream we work towards, but most of us are pulled with work issues or issues in our personal life at some time. We can’t park our life issues at the door step at work and our work issues at the door when we leave. Mental Health First Aid helps us in our life and helps as Project Managers. MHFA teaches you about: substances, mood disorders, anxiety, and psychosis. Not as a professional but as the person that first recognizes that you may know someone that is struggling. We will also look at issues relating to the new cannabis legislation and how that may impact the workplace.
