Linton SellenAn experienced manager, trainer, and trainer of leaders, Linton Sellen has won awards for his leadership, his presentation skills, and his training ability. He received his post- secondary education from the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba. He was selected to represent the Faculty of Law in national moot court competition, receiving the highest individual score on the undefeated U of M team.

After receiving his Call to the Bar, he joined Canada's Air Force. Linton demonstrated his ability as a leader by finishing 1st out of 110 on the demanding thirteen week officers' leadership course, as selected by both his peers and his superiors. He earned his commission as an officer, his pilot wings, and the highest instructional category available. He was put in charge of training and evaluating other Air Force supervisors and instructors, and authored the manual for their use. As the head of pilot training at an operational squadron, he was responsible for teaching crew commanders how to lead their teams on operational missions. Linton has acquired years of first hand practical experience as a manager, coach, leader, and leadership consultant.

For the last 18 years, Linton has conducted on-sight and classroom training of managers and supervisors and provided leadership consultation to businesses and other organizations through the company Training Plus. He is noted for his unique, original, yet practical insights into leadership. He specializes in the area of leadership development and has developed the Workplace Leader Course to address the issues faced by the leader in the modern workplace. The training has earned rave reviews from leaders in organizations across Canada.

Bob Hornsberger is a life time resident of Regina having been born, raised, educated and employed in the city for over 70 years. Bob has over 48 years of experience in assisting organizations to change through thoughtful planning and designing, delivering and evaluating learning programs to assist managers, supervisors and staff in developing the competencies they require to help their organizations meet their challenges and goals. Topic: The Oz Principle – Getting Results through Individual and Organizational Accountability

This workshop is based on the book of the same name written by Roger Connors, Tom Smith and Craig Hickman. Individual and organizational results of people improve dramatically when people overcome the deceptive traps of the victim cycle and take the steps to accountability. Those steps include SEE IT…OWN It…SOLVE IT…DO IT! The attitude of victimization has captured organizations both in the public and private sector in a choking stranglehold. In this workshop why people in organizations must avoid the debilitating effects of the victim cycle in order to get results will be processed and explained. Then, the 4 steps to accountability will be explained and processed in helping to obtain what you desire for yourself, your team and your organization.

There are 8 modules in this program. They include

This program is targeted to individuals who, as part of their job, facilitate groups. The workshop provides a framework for facilitating groups. The program also provides participants to practice their facilitation skills and receive feedback on their progress.

Topics such as

  2. Defining facilitation and its core values
  3. Facilitator roles and responsibilities, traps to avoid, and core qualities
  4. Facilitation skills assessment
