Jesse Hirsh

Jesse owns and operates Metaviews Media Management Ltd., which focuses on research and consulting around new media business models, big data, and the strategic use of social media. He is also a co-founder of the Academy of the Impossible a peer to peer lifelong learning facility. Because of the impact technology has on our relationship with the world, Jesse believes that it should be used in responsible and creative ways. Amber Mac

Amber Mac has keynoted more than 300 events across the USA and Canada, and as far away as Australia, in which she addresses the topic of business innovation and what it takes for companies to adapt and grow. She is a regular business host and expert for Fast Company, CNN, CBS, BNN, The Marilyn Denis Show, and Sirius Radio. In December 2015, she served as an entrepreneur advisor on new reality TV series Dream Funded: Let the Crowd Decide, created by Mark Burnett. She also hosted a one-hour holiday special of Bloomberg Brink for Bloomberg TV

Amber Mac began her career in San Francisco and Boston during the dot-com boom in the late 1990s. As a strategist for Razorfish agency and Director of Marketing for an e-procurement software company, she spent four years in the technology start-up trenches. During this time, she was also a judge for The Webby Awards, an international organization that recognizes the best of the web. She then left the start-up world to join Microsoft to build one of the first female-focused lifestyle portals. While continuing to work for the software giant, she spent two years coaching people on television about building their businesses online with G4TechTV titan, Leo Laporte. In 2006, with her brother, she started her own agency called Konnekt. The company’s first client was world-renowned business coach, Tony Robbins, who has this to say about Amber Mac’s work: she “understands how important it is for all of us, both as individuals and as businesses, to be able to use social media to connect with people. I think she is a leader in this space.”

Her company’s clients include Microsoft Xbox, Ford Motor Company, Tony Robbins, Canada Goose, Fast Company, PayPal, Canadian Blood Services, and many more leading organizations. In 2010, Amber Mac wrote the national bestselling business book Power Friending (Portfolio: New York). Her new book, released in May 2016 and co-authored with Michael Bazzell, is Outsmarting Your Kids Online: A Safety Handbook for Overwhelmed Parents.

Linton SellenAn experienced manager, trainer, and trainer of leaders, Linton Sellen has won awards for his leadership, his presentation skills, and his training ability. He received his post- secondary education from the Faculty of Management and the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba. He was selected to represent the Faculty of Law in national moot court competition, receiving the highest individual score on the undefeated U of M team.

After receiving his Call to the Bar, he joined Canada's Air Force. Linton demonstrated his ability as a leader by finishing 1st out of 110 on the demanding thirteen week officers' leadership course, as selected by both his peers and his superiors. He earned his commission as an officer, his pilot wings, and the highest instructional category available. He was put in charge of training and evaluating other Air Force supervisors and instructors, and authored the manual for their use. As the head of pilot training at an operational squadron, he was responsible for teaching crew commanders how to lead their teams on operational missions. Linton has acquired years of first hand practical experience as a manager, coach, leader, and leadership consultant.

For the last 18 years, Linton has conducted on-sight and classroom training of managers and supervisors and provided leadership consultation to businesses and other organizations through the company Training Plus. He is noted for his unique, original, yet practical insights into leadership. He specializes in the area of leadership development and has developed the Workplace Leader Course to address the issues faced by the leader in the modern workplace. The training has earned rave reviews from leaders in organizations across Canada.

CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER
The individual that successfully registers and pays for the PMI RSSC PDC (“Registrant”) may transfer or cancel their PDC2018 registrationby providing formal written noticeto the VP of Professional Development (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ) prior to November 7 , 2018. The formal written notice  will state:

  • Whether that the registration will be cancelled or transferred to another individual (“Substitute).  
  • Full name of the Registrant;
    • Member (ID number) or Non-member of PMI RSSC;
    • Contact Information (email address, phone number);
    • Registration type:  Full Conference, Day 1, or Day 2;
  • Full name of the Substitute (if Registration is being Transferred);
    • Member (ID number) or Non-member of PMI RSSC;
    • Contact Information (email address, phone number).

The following applies to registration transfers:

  • A PMI RSSC Non-Member Registrant may transfer their PDC registration to a PMI RSSC Member.
  • A PMI RSSC Member may transfer their registration to a Non-Member if payment of the fee difference between the Member to Non-Member price is made as directed by the VP of Professional Development.
The following applies to registration cancellations:

PMI RSSC shall adjust the reimbursed sum on the paid registration fee according to the number of calendar days notice given as per the following schedule:

  • 5% lump sum deduction for cancellations made before October 1 , 2018;
  • 50% lump sum deduction for cancellations made between October 1  to October 31 , 2018;
  • 100% lump sum deduction for cancellations made between November 1  to November 7 , 2018.
